Social Gatherings, Educational Events and Other Activities

Social Gatherings:

Several times each year the Olympia FOR invites people to come together to enjoy social time. These include summer picnics, social time with refreshments after our Holiday Peace Vigil on a Saturday before Christmas, and other occasions. This part of the website will include information inviting you to gather with us to enjoy the upcoming social gatherings. It might also include summaries and photos of the ones we have recently enjoyed.

Educational Events:

Many times throughout the year the Olympia FOR sponsors speakers, organizes workshops, conducts training, and presents other opportunities to help our members and the general public learn about peace, social justice and nonviolence. We hold our annual meeting in May of every year.

Other Activities:

A wide variety of other opportunities arise from time to time. This part of the website will include information about these other activities and the ones we have recently enjoyed.
